In October 2009, Balfour Beatty acquired Parsons Brinckerhoff, one of the world's leading professional services firms. Parsons Brinckerhoff provides strategic consulting, planning, engineering, design, programme and construction management services to both public and private sector clients. In April 2010 Heery and Parsons Brinckerhoff will be merged as one company under the name of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
