Environment
Heery International's Environmental Management system is accredited to ISO 14001.
This system gives us a set of data by which we monitor our performance year on year, enabling the setting of targets and objectives that are both understandable and achieveable.
We measure, for example:
- Water usage - both in permanent and temporary offices and on site (where we act as Principal Contractor)
- Electricity Usage - as above
- Waste generation - by volume/weight/type
- Waste Recycling
- Land remediation
- Fuel usage, both in cars owned by personnel and in terms of plant used on site
- Timber usage - all timber is sourced from FSC certified sources
- Use of Montreal Protocol Substances
