Heery commits to “Zero Harm"

Most of us think that we are safe, and doing thinks safely. But sometimes, someone gets badly injured or even dies in our business. Balfour Beatty Management has said it's time to make that stop.We are asking every one of us, no matter what we do, to play our part in removing risk.

What Will it Take?

Me. The people I work with. And 500,000 others. We'll get to Zero when we all do it together. That means everyone - managers, designers, planners, engineers, coordinators, buyers, supervisors, sub - contractors, site workers - all of us making Safety personal. 500,000 others. The people I work with. And Me.

Zero Harm gives us all the power to look around us - and speak up about what we think needs to change. Starting now. Starting with "Me".

How would I take the risk out of my job?

Is there a different way to do it?

How could I prevent risks getting to the worksite?

What would I like to change around me?

That's what Zero Harm means......making Safety personal."
