Heery help bring new systems into use at Holborn Underground Station.
A small Heery team has been on secondment to Metronet- one of the alliance businesses working with London Underground Ltd to modernise the tube. The team supported the existing Holborn Underground Station modernisation team to provide all of the assurance necessary to "bring into use" a new generation station control room, and new communications, electrical, and fire systems. Heery's director, Roger Keir, said "This has been a huge challenge and a great demonstration of teamwork by all involved. We have gained a huge amount of experience in project and engineering assurance from just this one project, which will be of benefit to some of the work that we do in other sectors".
